SDN Framework FAQ
What is a Secured Digital Note (SDN)?
A Secured Digital Note is a structured, asset-backed private credit instrument. It combines an enforceable contractual debt obligation with a compliant digital ownership registry recorded on-chain under the ERC-3643 standard.
What is Redline Lab's role?
Redline Lab acts as official Arranger and Coordinator for the SDN Framework. Independent trustees handle fiduciary enforcement and Tesseras Labs operates the digital registry — Redline Lab does not take custody of investor funds.
What collateral and LTV discipline does the framework use?
Issuers pledge hard-asset collateral such as precious metals, mining assets, or inventory. Redline Lab applies a conservative 20%–35% loan-to-value discipline during the Asset Vetting phase.
What is the target yield for institutional investors?
The SDN Economic Layer targets 8%–14% annualized coupon distribution to institutional allocators, with transparent fee waterfalls defined in the definitive legal documentation.
How are investor funds safeguarded?
An independent Trustee establishes a bankruptcy-remote escrow account so investor funds are never commingled with issuer capital. The Trustee holds liquidation authority and only authorizes SDN minting once collateral is perfected.
Who is the SDN designed for?
The SDN is a private, institutional-grade credit instrument — not a speculative or retail product. It is designed for qualified institutional allocators and asset-owning issuers seeking non-dilutive, collateralized capital.
SDN Protocol & Intellectual Property Disclosure: Any issuance of Secured Digital Notes ("SDNs") is conducted pursuant to definitive legal documentation and in compliance with applicable securities laws. All intellectual property, frameworks, and methodologies associated with the SDN Framework are the exclusive property of Redline Blockchain S.A., Redline Lab, and technology provider Tesseras Labs, a Redline Lab portfolio company. Redline Lab acts solely in the capacity of Arranger and Coordinator; it does not custody funds or provide fiduciary services.
Operational Capacity: Redline Lab's authority is exercised exclusively by its authorized team and associates. Full underwriting and issuance require the execution of binding contracts and the settlement of phased fees.
